In addition, the Australian government has conducted a study that has estimated the number of online gamblers at fewer than five million. There are also mobile-friendly gambling operators that offer secure payment methods and a full range of games.
In the early days of the Internet, there were numerous online gambling sites that could be found by anyone with a web browser. Although it was technically illegal, some sites allowed players to place wagers using credit cards.
